If you think I’m not gonna file something then you must be out of it.
Santana… Babe, you don’t have to do that. Can I just have you rub the ointment into my back?
Yes, I do. And yeah, yeah, I can do that.

It was all female nurses on the floor today. A bunch of our male nurses were out sick today or just not working today. So, it was me and another girl.

Some patient needed to be held down today, they were slightly crazy and they ended throwing me across the room and I think I’ve injured my back. Dammit.
Wait, why the fuck were you holding down a patient that needed to be Baker acted? That’s something for the male nurses.

ooc: Um, you mean this Quinntana or… the fact that they’re married?
This is a continuation to a few other rpgs that we’ve done together, building them up to this point. We haven’t rped this version of Quinn/Santana in awhile.
Quinn hadn’t even paid attention the fact that there were candles on the table, her favorite dinner dish on the two plates and little heart confetti surrounding the plates. Hazel eyes met with chocolate brown and she got just a tad misty eyed. “You actually cooked me Three Cheese Chicken Penne and made bruschetta?” Quinn watched as the girl rocked back and forth on her heels, obviously nervous to hear her response. “Babe, that’s… Thank you so much. I’m sure its great.” The blonde walked over to her wife and placed her hands on her hips, squeezing softly. “Happy Valentines, sorry I won’t be around tomorrow.” Leaning forward, Quinn pressed a soft kiss to Santana’s forehead, smiling against the tan skin.
She made her way over to sit down at her chair, her eyes taking in the meal as Bailey scampered in and began to wag her tail. Quinn rolled her eyes before shaking her finger at their dog. “Bailey, no human food for you. We don’t want you getting fat.” The blonde looked down at her plate before grabbing the fork and digging in. To be honest she was a little apprehensive, Santana wasn’t the best cook but it seemed like she’d really outdone herself this time. “Oh my God, this is delicious. I may have to force you to make me this every Valentines Day.” She nodded, her eyes sparkling before she stood up and walked out of the room for several moments. She then came back in with a black box that said ‘Kay Jewelers’ on it. Hopefully Santana liked her gift.
“I hope it’s good, I tried and stuff,” she said with a tiny shrugging of her shoulders before the blonde moved over to her. She wore a triumphant grin that faltered into a smile. She couldn’t help but smile a little bit and roll her eyes as Quinn leaned forward and kissed her forehead. Of course she had gone and done that. It was Valentine’s Day and Quinn was the love of her life, why wouldn’t she go out of her way and do something like that? “Happy Valentine’s Day,” she said with a slight smirk before sighing over-dramatically. “Ugh, why do you work tomorrow anyway? That’s not cool at all, it’s our first Valentine’s Day as a married couple. I say you call out,” she said before plopping down in her chair, pushing Bailey away with her foot.
She watched anxiously as Quinn started to eat, hoping that she liked it as much as she was showing. She knew that Quinn would just praise the Hell out of her anyway but she hoped it was good regardless. She leaned forward and started eating some of it herself before smiling at her, “Yeah, yeah, then let me know like… two days in advance or something or it’ll taste like crap,” she said with a wide grin before she watched Quinn get up and leave only to return with a little black box. She raised up an eyebrow at her before taking it, and looking up at her. She opened it up slightly, a smile spreading across her lips as she did so. “Baby, it’s gorgeous,” she said before turning and catching the blonde’s lips for a moment before handing it back to her. “Put it on me.”

Quinn went downstairs, running her fingers through her blonde locks and letting out a yawn. Santana was always a brat, that much was certain and even though she had mostly been joking about having her sleep on the couch, there was a part of her that felt insulted. It was most likely just the lack of sleep that she had been getting from all the hours of work that she’d been putting in as of late or maybe it was just because she was just moody. Who knew? The blonde reached the hallway by the kitchen, Bailey scampering in front of her before barking loudly and chasing after a ball. She shook her head as she entered the kitchen, spotting Santana by the sink.
A smile graced Quinn’s features, making her way to the Latina before wrapping her arms around the girl’s torso. Quinn brought up a hand to pull away the hair from Santana’s right shoulder, bringing it around to the other side before pressing a soft kiss to the crook of her neck. “Now where are these burgers and should I be worried about them poisoning me?” Quinn smirked before resting her chin on Santana’s shoulder, humming softly as she waited for a response.
Santana hadn’t always been a great cook or anything but because it was the day before Valentine’s Day – Quinn was working on the actual holiday – she decided that she’d try. She didn’t actually make burgers; she just figured that her saying so would bring Quinn downstairs without being suspicious of what she was doing. She’d taken it upon herself to research meals online and finally after a few days of actually practicing one of them came out well so she planned on making that for Quinn and she did.
She hadn’t really done anything other than set up the table, candles and all, and Quinn was on her way down so she made her way into the downstairs bathroom and tried to clean herself up the best that she could. She knew that the other girl wouldn’t have expected anything, knowing that she actually worked on the holiday so she hoped that she had surprised her somewhat.
After deeming herself presentable she made her way out of the bathroom and back into the dining table where she anxiously waited for Quinn to come down the stairs. She positioned herself behind one of the dining room chairs with her lip caught between her teeth as she teetered nervously back and forth in place.
